AFRO-CARIBBEAN DANCE BOMBA DANCE WORKSHOP

Bomba (African, Caribbean)

Participants will learn about the roots of Afro-Caribbean music and dance in Puerto Rico. 
This workshop will cover the history of the Bomba, basic steps for multiple Bomba rhythms, a dance sequence, and individual practice. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own long full-circle skirts and scarves.
